Bruce has almost always been a baseball player, ever since his dad introduced him into it. Vance's dad wasn't quite the dream, when vance was really young he used to protect him mom from his dad by punching and kicking him. Vance's childhood was much worse. Bruce had met Vance in kindergarten, more like they were enemies for the rest of that. not the enemies you expect, more like they haven't actually spoke in person. Vance never shows up to baseball games as he's always on that game Pinball. He loves it that much everyone calls him "Pinball Vance". One day Vance finally shows up to one of Bruce's matches. He caught Bruce's eye, made eye contact, made Bruce feel welcome to be his friend. Will vance always be this nice?
