Ekaterina is a strong head free spirited girl. She lives on the edge of her seat. She moved to America when she was only fourteen years old. She lived with her бабушка (grandma) until she was sixteen when she was killed. Ekaterina has been moving around the world finishing her high school education while searching for the people responsible for killing her бабушка. She finally settled in New York after finding out the person responsible resides there.

She hacked into the NYU student admission and enrolled herself into school while she worked on finding the killers. One day when her payment for her last year tuition ran out she went on the search for a billionaire who wouldn't miss a couple for a thousand dollars. When she found a very very very rich man she took more than a thousand dollars from him. What she didn't know was that the man she stole from was Niccolas Gallo the leader of the Spanish-Italian mafia.

Niccolas was a very well-known playboy. He slept with a different woman every night. He's worked hard to get his mafia to where it is now. When his mother died six years ago his father went into a downward spiral and so did he. He went on a wild goose chase looking for his mothers murder. Six years of looking for her mother and six years of nothing. He couldn't get one hit on his mothers murder.

One day while he was at one of his clubs getting high off his ass he got a call from one of his hackers. Someone stole 20 million dollars from his offshore account. He went back to his office and found the location of who stole the money. He went over to give the man the beating of his life when he found Ekaterina. He decided instead of just threatening her into giving him the money back he would use her skills to help him expand his mafia and in return he helps her look for her nana's killer.
