Disclaimer: This short story is a ROUGH draft so I do realize there are some inconsistencies throughout the story. However, I worked really hard on this for a final for one of my classes and wanted to share!
Synopsis:
Following the death of her twin brother, Willa Monroe is trying to deal with the aftermath. Which can be hard to do when you're a human lab rat worked like a dog day and night. Being raised in a top secret science facility isn't ideal but at least Willa had her brother to tough it through. Now without him serving as her security blanket, Willa must learn how to cope on top of a new revelation that was most definitely not in her cards. Which not only affects her but her brother's best friend Rhys, whom she's never met before. As this revelation is revealed, the two are thrusted into unfamiliar territory with no end in sight.
