In Sydney's rough western suburb known as Mount Druitt.....

Iluka is a 17 year old indigenous Australian boy, his an outgoing and likeable guy that is dealing with an abusive father. Iluka's father is a single dad who is a drug addict and while Iluka's Mum committed suicide when Iluka was 8 years old, and he still does not know the reason for.

Iluka begins to plan an escape from his violent home, with his childhood best friend Eman, who grew up to traditional parents who are trying to marry her off to her cousin in Egypt.

Iluka and Eman will embark on a journey that neither of them were anticipating....
