It's senior year at Monte Carlston Prep and it's famous students are fighting for the coveted eight positions of SOAR: Seniors Overseas Achievers Retreat, a glamorous and respected semester abroad filled with the most enviable opportunities available in Europe.

There's Kiara Satusky, rich and beautiful, a party girl haunted by a devastating tragedy. Then, her old best friend Astrid Flores, the sweet one, stifled by her demons of perfection and her past loves.
