Out of Place

She never felt like she belonged anywhere. Everywhere she goes, she feels like she doesn't belong. Like a puzzle piece not fitting anywhere. She always had to fight for her place. She sometimes gets tired of fighting, but where will she go? She has no place to run to.

She's like the single wilting petal on an almost perfect flower. Or the scratch on a newly bought toy. A random hanging thread on your clothes. The drizzle of rain on a sunny day. She is there, but it would be much better if she wasn't. She is always out of place.
