Sebastian Illunis, Grand Mage of the Empire of Ilyia, wants a new life. Preferably one without any man-eating turtles or crazed assassins coming to kill him in his sleep.
Fortunately for him, he finds just the spell for his problem-one that will send him back to the past when he was a baby, so he can relive his life the way he wants to. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't realise that the spell is incomplete and messes it up. Horribly.
After many (or more specifically, hundreds) of failed attempts, he finally finds himself in a different timeline. He has gained consciousness as Sebastian once more...
Just a different Sebastian.
He is now Sebastian Lancaster, son of Duke Lancaster of the Empire of Ilyia, almost two-hundred years ahead in the future. To keep his promise to an old friend and see this quest to its end, he has to navigate court life through a web of lies and deceit, gain his old power back to defend against traitorous nobles and even more crazed assassins, and most important of all-learn how to make friends again.
Shenanigans ensue.

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day.
