BOOK 1.   This was the first book that I started to write in May 2023. I always liked the idea of the story.  Shen Wei patrols the streets at night, while he teaches by day and has health plus emotional problems because he's over taxing himself, so he visits Chu in the countryside.  Yunlan is a spirit unable to help but can only watch until the opportunity comes along to change his situation. They also deal with kidnapping, burglary and it introduces Black Robes guards who are in every book that follows. This one was challenging to write but I enjoyed every minute, hope you like it as much as I did while writing. x

The story is about love that emerges after hatred. Shen Wei is married to Zhao's mom and is going to inherit all of her fortune if her son doesn't show up to save it all from him. What will happen between the two after they meet. Shen Wei has a strong and sarcastic character from the outside he is smart and fierce, they call him the devil but deep inside is a lonely kid craving for love and attention. Zhao Yunlan is wise and kind but becomes scary when it comes to his mom and his family. the fight and conflicts between them will grow but they will come to love each other dear, the events will slowly develop in the so coming chapters. wish me luck with my first story.😍😍🤗🤗

BOOK 7. Kunlun is now a professor at the Centre for the Gifted where Shen Wei has chosen several special students to form a team, separate from the police. Yunlan considers himself normal but agrees to lead them. The book follows their progress, and the emotional ups and downs of the couple. One of their adversaries comes back for revenge intent on killing both of them, and they get the chance to meet their predecessors from three lifetimes ago. We see endings and beginnings linked with danger through the eyes of Yunlan and Shen Wei.

My favourite couple as always are my Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan from Guardian by Priest. the story is about two cousins that they grew up together as loving and so close to each other but as they grow into teens they were separated from eachother but later again they got to meet. Zhao Yunlan is a trouble maker and lazy, he hates working and only spends his time playing around. He was the one who raised Shen Wei from when he was a babe until he became a teen but always getting on his nerves. Shen Wei is totally the opposite of him, a wise and smart man that makes everyone in the family proud of him, he is calm and confident. The only thing that shakes his confidence is Yunlan especially that he has obsessive compulsive which make Yunlan always make fun of him. the story is sweet, funny but sometimes becomes serious and sad. I hope you will like it 😘😘

BOOK 8. Zhao Yunlan is a detective in a newly formed department dealing with strange crimes, but there are only three detectives and they don't have an office. Chu and Daqing work for Yunlan but their loyalty is to Black Robe who agreed to live here and police his own people who came willingly, or were stranded on this side of the gateway when it closed. The new department was his decision. The story follows the death threats to shut down the department by killing Yunlan or anyone else around him.

After one of his meetings he is arrested as a fraud when a woman is robbed of her savings and he spends the night in a cell. He is released the next morning when his lawyer comes to collect him. Zhao Yunlan doesn't believe in anything that he can't see or touch and it drives a wedge between him and the one he cares for while he learns about Wei's illness.

BOOK 4. Shen Wei is a doctor working in accident and emergency but also Black Robe. Zhao is a detective chasing bank robbers when he first meets Black Robe thinking that he is one of them and shoots him. The story is about their relationship and their search to stop a drug which turns normal people into assassins, this drug has followed through in all my books, sometimes only in the background. Maybe this time they will destroy it completely. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did writing it.
