Ophelia is a 16 year old girl struggling with a multitude of problems. She doesn't reveal her problems to anyone, not even her brother, who is her only friend. That is, until the new girl named Lucy, who struggles with some of the same problems as Ophelia, stumbles upon Ophelia while she is having a panic attack. After seeing Ophelia in such a vulnerable state, Lucy can't help but force herself past Ophelia's barriers. When the two start to open up, and Ophelia tells Lucy why she was having a panic attack that fateful day, Lucy has to figure out how to respect her friend's wishes, while also doing what she feels is right. The pair have to navigate their relationship, their feelings for one another while also trying not cause anybody any pain.

Ophelia is not an ordinary girl...she will never be normal. At age four she was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder. Over the years from not being able to be around other's due to her fears she has an anxiety attack in the middle of class. Her parents are forced to get her help. They hoped it was just the disorder however she gets diagnosed again with social anxiety and is forced to take medication for it.
Her life will never be normal even if the new guy at school refuses to give up on talking to her. Will she avoid him forever or cave in to let him in?
