After a traumatic experience leaves Selene broken she moves to a small town in Colorado with her father and brother. She soon meets Jackson Monroe a kind and charming boy who quickly becomes her closest friend. They help each other heal and grow but when Jackson gets dragged into a life he never saw coming Selene goes along for the ride. She refuses to leave him alone in the chaos of his new life and eventually they both suffer the consequences of staying together.
