Y/n hope Abernathy, a wealthy district 1 girl who is said to have a "perfect" life. Nobody really knew the truth. She was practically forced to volunteer at the reaping. Nobody, not even her parents paid attention to her. She was only 16 when she volunteered, at least she would have a slightly more honorable death dying and volunteering before she was actually supposed to. Due to an invention her father created, him and his wife were able to move all the way to district 1. That was 2 years before her mother gave birth to her. All they ever wanted was more glory for themselves and never stopped to think about y/n. Her dad, James key Abernathy Is brothers with Haymitch Abernathy. Whenever y/n would complain her parents would state that at least she didn't have such a bad life like those in district 12. She never really found a reason to actually try and to survive the hunger games, that was until she met Clove, Clove Kentwell.
