First Contact is a multidimensional narrative connecting centuries, continents and sub/cultures, unravelling coincidences and conspiracies, computer viruses, and viruses which infect your mind. It details a kaleidoscope of revolutions and counter revolutions, football hooligans and Satanists, mutants and mutilations. Through drugs, drums and dreams, the interface is breached, and the message downloaded, and interpreted. The crew of the Mnemosyne detect a mysterious transmission, originating from a hostile planet. Meanwhile, but not meantime, a group of boys living in a sleepy Australian town realize that they are not ordinary kids, but actually deepcover agents from another galaxy. Intergalactic war is summoning them back home. It seems like pop superstar Michael Jackson is also heading their way!

Elsewhere in this anthology, two adventurous spirits try to restore contact with a lost colony of violent criminals. A star goes supernova, sparking panic and upheaval around the world. A frightening apparition is glimpsed deep inside a Yorkshire mine, beckoning "Come back to me!" In nearby London, a struggling shopkeeper meets her dark half and her "bizniss" finally goes ballistic.

First Contact is a short story and novella collection dating from 1989 to 2001. It is written in the style of a postmodern "pastiche": a work of art that imitates or borrows elements from a variety of different sources, in order to create a unique style or subvert the original meaning, make connections, and open a textual dialogue. Similarities to real people, places or events are entirely coincidental LOL!

Earth got First Contact on January 19, 2022. At least, in my science fiction universe! 1st chapters of a lot of stories. The stories that get the most votes will move up on my never-ending list of pending novels. The Adia Series begins with Adia, Scientist. Molly's Miracle Colonies takes place second in this group of stories. Adia, One Of Prophecy is the third installment here. I am preparing to release it Dec 2024 on Royal Road and Wattpad. It is the 2nd volume in the Adia Series. Kia's Biehshah Gift is fourth, and I just finished it in Dec 2024. You voted for it here on Wattpad! Ray, Host, will be fifth. It is mostly finished, which is why I didn't use it for my novel in a month project. Deb, Midwife, Suma, Therapist and Azure, Timelord will come after, as well as Alice, Queen Of Zheiea. Becky's Gift, Bedelia's Dilemma, and Ella's Saga are also part of a larger battle, but I still have to write Elsie's Fella, Stacy's Escape and Yelena's Edge. These 6 stories are all about the people of Esta Faho, now a city in Elshar Zheiea in Rahn Estar Prov. All of these ladies play a role. Granny's SETI Goblin also affects a larger battle in a big way! These novels are also part of my 100 Days on Earth Project. All books that are part of 100 Days On Earth take place at the same time. These first stories that are also involved in various aspects of the a larger battle, begin on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. COVID is still raging. Earth is about to change radically. And, Adia's futures can be changed. I will include the first chapters of all my Battle Of The Cubes stories, then work my way through my catalog, uploading on Tue, Thu and Sat at 1 am. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. This is a story that doesn't contribute at all the grander story of Zero... A lesser narrative that should have ended up withering away but instead abruptly became a full blown Narrative. Due to the abrupt nature of its appearance, the narrative was not able to completely acclimate to its "main" status internally, this only worsened the narratives Chronicle Structure Foundation (C.S.F), making it develop Chronicle Structure Instability (C.S.I), this caused the narrative to become extremely liable to Chronicle Structure Distortions (C.S.D) which could potentially lead to a Chronicle Structure Collapse (C.S.C). Its Ruin Foundation Value on the Archnarrative is C+ meaning it has a mostly even chance of spelling the destruction of many narratives beyond itself upon its collapse.
