Sovanna is the last of lionkind with the magical roar to summon the sun, and the daughter of a mighty king, but she's unable to use her powers, and a frost curse threatens her kind. One day, she meets a bird-human Hybrid, Taro, and learns the threat of frost may be closer than she thought.

When her power-hungry sister murders their father, and then challenges the Guardians of the planet to a battle, all chaos breaks loose. Sovanna must team up with a lionkind warrior who hates her, a Human doctor, a young mysterious Guardian, and Taro to save her kind from extinction.

As Sovanna embarks on a journey with friend and foe to destroy the frost beast and lift the curse, a terrible prophecy comes to light. If the frost beast isn't destroyed in time, it could be the end of lionkind forever. Sovanna holds the fate of her race in her paws.

Something quite alarming has been happening to Princess Yavenna, heir to the throne of Tarhasta. Since her sixteenth birthday a year and a half ago, she's been getting stronger and faster; quite shockingly so. She knows it certainly can't be anything to do with magic - magic has been against the law for years in Tarhasta. But there's not really anyone she can talk to about it as her mother died when she was seven and her best friend Marco won't discuss anything that might get him into trouble with Yavenna's father King Yeroz. Well, Yavenna thought her father was King Yeroz - but when she is sent to Arvad to marry the notorious King Ulric against her will, Yavenna begins to find out nothing in her life is quite what she thought it was. On the surface, Arvad is a fertile, prosperous country. But when she gets there, Yavenna discovers strange people with unexpected powers. And some of them seem a little too keen to stick uncomfortably close to her. Especially when Yavenna finds out she's a bit more like some of them than she ever dreamt was possible. Luckily for Yavenna, King Yeroz made sure she was brought up knowing one end of a bow from another. That comes in quite useful as she often makes too-rash decisions and can't always keep her mouth shut. Sometimes those qualities don't help when you're trying to make friends in a foreign land. And they are definitely some of the worst qualities you could ever have when you find yourself falling in love... Start reading today and enter Yavenna's world of secrets, magic, wolves and romance.

The alliance between the Red Stoichi Tribe and the Westerners has outlived the memories of any living Dakyre- it is as old as the realm itself. This is the story of how said alliance affects the lives of two Dakyres destined to be together. Faldrey, a water Stoichi Dakyre, loses his entire family in one day- on the day of the reoccurring Westian raids. Despite trying so hard to at least save himself, he's still gets captured and hoisted away to the Red Stoichi Tribe where he becomes a personal maid servant to the Young Mistress; the Young Tal Dane's twin sister. Eren, son of the Tal Dane, heir to the Throne of Fire, and Young Tal Dane of the Red Stoichi Tribe, finds himself powerless against what has now become the norm in the realm. Unable to get his father to reconsider their alliance with the Westies, he pays the ultimate price for speaking against them in the presence of the council of Lords. Eren and Faldrey, the eighth reincarnations of Alistair and Theobald; two cursed Ao lovers, are about to experience their first raid which wouldn't just bring them together, it would change their lives forever. A vengeful Dakyrian army, one never seen in the realm, is coming for the Tal Dane, and two lovers stand at the risk of losing everything they've built together. What does fate have in store for these two Dakyres a realm and a heartbeat apart? •Make sure to read the well detailed preamble in the book.• _________________________________________________________ NOTE: Dakyres are "people of old magic" I came up with whilst eating a bad combo of pringles and ketchup at 3am. I implore you to give this story a chance. I promise you won't be disappointed. Make sure to check the comprehensive glossary at the end for whatever confuses you.

The Sky Demons Part One: Journey

25 parts Complete

"We are the infamous outcasts; the hybrids that shouldn't exist. Our only purpose is survival and the fight against the prejudice that causes our suffering. We are the Sky Demons and now is the time for our return." There exists a magical world dominated by two humanoid species: the colourful spectrumosa and the animalistic deishani, in which hybrids between these two are feared for their greater powers and magical abilities and are accordingly persecuted at birth. Follow the journey of some of the few young hybrids who managed to escape the inevitable and must now find somewhere safe to call home and live in peace. But is the fact that these children just might one day pose a threat really enough justification for their deaths? And is it truly possible for a hybrid to live peacefully? _________________________________________________________ The Sky Demons: Journey is the first in an ongoing trilogy.
