"No... no, someone-stop this... help..."

Lyra tossed and turned, but nothing could shake the scene haunting her. Trembling, her fists clenched tightly as tears slid down her flushed cheeks.

"Lyra..."

His voice, soft yet urgent, echoed as he rushed toward her.

"Lyra..."

He called again, pain lacing every syllable as he gazed at her, helpless.

Suddenly, she jolted awake, mumbling in a daze.

"Gone... gone... it's all gone..."

A sob escaped her trembling lips as she clutched her golden locks, shivering.

He sat nearby, watching her through the haze of her emerald eyes, words eluding him, his emotions a mystery even to himself.

Her eyes fluttered shut, head shaking, until she met his gaze-those deep, unreadable hazel eyes.

"Alaric..."

Her voice, a barely audible whisper, almost lost to the air.

"...Alaric."

The word trembled on her lips as she looked at him, her pain reflected in his eyes, a silent understanding passing between them.

"I'll do everything I can for you," he said, his voice raw with vulnerability.

"I'll do everything for you."

This time, his words carried the weight of command, firm and unyielding.

She looked up at him, her tear-filled eyes brimming with emotions she couldn't fully grasp-calm, yet chaotic.

His gaze held her, a balance of strength and tenderness, unspoken promises lingering in the air.
