Peter Parker had been through hell. Watching his Uncle Ben die right in front of him, watching the love of his life meeting the same fate, his best friend, his Aunt, his parents, they were all dead. He was all alone, and on top of that, he had an entire city full of people to protect. With all the loss, grief, and responsiblity on his young shoulders, it's a big releif when he gets recruited by the Avengers. But will their kindness be enough? Or is he too lost in his sadness to go back? Read to find out!

Just to be clear, this is an Andrew Garfield spiderman crossed with the Tom Holland Avengers Universe. Which means that it's his whole story line with Gwen and everything that happened in the first and second movie, but it all happened in the Avengers Universe because I need this in my life and can find NO other fanfics with this storyline. Also he's aged down so that he's 17 here when he was 19 in the 2nd movie, cos I said so. I wrote this because I really needed some Andrew Garfield Spideraman plus Avengers stuff or I would start crying. Also Aunt May's dead cos he cannot have happiness. I never actually watched The Amazing Spiderman 2, I only watched the first one, but I know the gist of what happens in it so feel free to correct me if I get something wrong. It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured.
