Your parents were having another argument, and you were the reason. You see, you were 22 and still living under your parents' roof. It was the stem of the majority of family fights, and, honestly, you felt worse about it every time. You were an adult for 4 years now, and you still leached off of your parents like a dependent child. Shame burdened your every waking moment, and it would even keep you up at night on the worst of days. It wasn't entirely your fault, though. There were very few job openings in your area, and as soon as a new one popped up, it would be taken like that. Right now, you were taking a walk to ease your nagging thoughts, but you seemed to have walked too far. You had been warned twice not to continue, yet you did.
