Write a modern day story in which a human is pushed to their limits and transforms into some kind of monster that is part human part animal.

Consider:
Where does this transformation take place and how does the location impact what kind of animal they become?
How do they interact with humans?
Are there rules people follow in order to keep this monster happy?
What does this monster react negatively to?

The Wendigo Characteristics
Overcome by Greed/Selfishness- scared people into behaving in a certain way
Famine- people were starving and had to eat others to survive
"spirits of the lonely places"
It chooses it's victim carefully and devours them very slowly
Wendigo Fever
Very fast despite how frail they look
Can influence or control nature (animals or weather)
