Persephone's life was, in her opinion, fairly normal. Her mother passed away before she ever knew her, her father gave her anything she could ever need, and her boyfriend would after her anytime her father left town so that she was safe. That is, of course, until it all got flipped upside down, and Persephone must decide to hide and run in constant fear of Cancer's pawns or to throw away everything she had ever known to follow in the footsteps of her family. This story of middle-class civilian to top-level assassin leader is an adventure with romance and bittersweet revelations that will leave you wondering what comes next. Though I have written stories like this before, I have never published or shared any of them, so please let me know what you think so that I can make it even better!

This is a rewrite of my previous fan fiction "Tales of Hades and Persephone" as well as some inspiration from the original myth (and perhaps other retellings I enjoy). Hades has been alone for far too long. One day he pays a visit to Zeus and requests to marry Persephone. The King of the Gods agrees and even recommends Hades kidnap Persephone, since it's unlikely Demeter will agree to the marriage. Persephone is a young Goddess of Earth curious about the world of the mortals. She's always helping her mother Demeter, but one day while watching the mortals she wanders off only to fun into a handsome stranger. After a brief conversation, Persephone finds herself swept away to the Underworld. Will Hades manage to get Persephone to fall in love with him? What will Demeter do when she discovers her daughter is missing and it's all Zeus' fault? Will the mortals be able to survive the wrath of the Gods?
