"The Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, after only being married to Ser Laenor Velaryon of Driftmark for six moons, gave birth to a pair of white-haired infants. Initially, there were no rumors about the legitimacy of the twins' birthright. However, as Princess Rhaenyra later bore two brown-haired sons, Jacerys and Lucerys, whispers began to circulate regarding the striking resemblance of the twins to the infamous Rouge Prince and the Princess' uncle, Prince Daemon Targaryen."


This fanfic explores an alternate scenario where Rhaenyra and Daemon's fate takes a different turn that night at the pleasure house, and Rhaenyra doesn't drink the moon tea provided by King Viserys. Romantic relationships will not be the main focus of this story.

I saw the trailer for House of the Dragon season 2 and it just broke my heart how devastated Rhaenyra look. Since I know a lot of what will happen because I read the books.
