    Lauren Swan did a lot of rushing around in her life. She was always rushing out of the house because she was late, rushing during practices, rushing to finish her homework, and experiencing adrenaline rushes during soccer games. It wasn't until she befriended a certain Emmett Cullen did she finally stop rushing around. In fact, she just stood there. And stared. Her greatest fear was becoming true... she was becoming awkward like her sister.
