pretending won't fix the problems that exist
you can't pretend them away
so here's me no longer pretending in my book of poetry discussing hurt, healing, and the things I've experienced and learned through both
some things I write about may be triggering. I mostly have written about a toxic friendship I had and my battle with depression. My poetry is not for everyone but I hope that it helps you process your emotions and feelings. I'd be thankful for any constructive criticism or kind comments. I'm a new poet so please be patient with me.

Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. Hug Me When It Rains [18+]
We all have fallen hopelessly in love with someone in our young tender age of innocence. Except few who get through it happily others get heart broken experiencing the bittersweet pain which remains in the life till the eternal sleep. Some choose to confess while some choose to keep it to themselves. No matter what it's a sweet part of life. ✿♡♡✿ Looking outside at the rain I badly wanted a hug from him. I just miss this human so much always like never before. Looking at one of the 3 pictures he had sent me I just couldn't help from noticing those lips and exposed neck. "You know you have got a kissable lips and necks" I sent the message nervously waiting for a reply with excitement. A minute a has passed and I'm regretting it. Maybe I shouldn't have said that at least not now that we are talking again. But a smile made to my lips when I saw his reply. "Oh really?" It was a simple response yet I couldn't help myself from smiling like a teenager. He has always been reserved except for a few instances but I simply love it. I didn't want to make him wait for too long so I typed a response immediately. "Have I ever lied to you?" Seeing the purple heart reaction from his side I couldn't help just smile more and calm down my racing heart. ✿♡♡✿ Two hearts torn apart due to differences but what happens when destiny brings them together in life. To the world it was a forbidden love but to them it was the beautiful comfort they could ever find in each other. This book is about a love that developed between two hearts when they never planned for it. With a pinch of reality and fiction it's a love story between a 20 year old boy and 22 year old girl. He was reserved with his words while she was expressive. He was a mature person while she was a little kid to him. She was ready to fight the world but he was confused.

Oh, the life of a teenage girl. It seems like high school never gets easier especially when it comes to love. Happiness was like a diamond, rare until she found someone that made her happy without even expecting it. She will learn what love really is, the challenges that come with it, and how far she will go for someone she truly cares about. *This is a fictional story* *Some profanity included* Disclaimer: This story is structured like my past and made to represent my love life but in a fictional sense. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around...
