What is poetry to you?...

Is it the way we sing our blues
Or the way we write our feelings we can't refuse
Could it be the way we form our words that's so addicting and smooth 
Maybe the way we say what we want is so cruel
Or the way our imaginations are just a new pleasurable art of satisfaction 
It is the way we use figure of speech is so flowing and can't help but read on repeat
Poetry is what makes us peacefully at ease and is a beautifully creative masterpiece.

All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken.
