Over a year since the murders in Fabletown have passed. Bigby is still the Sherriff. He and Snow are simply colleagues. But when the son of Red Riding Hood comes in to report he'd almost been killed, a new case opens. A fable obsessed mundy somehow found out about them. And now, there's an even bigger problem at hand.

As time progresses, Bigby learns a few things, making him realize that maybe, just maybe, he isn't as bad as the fairytales make him out to be.
