He can't help but wonder why she stayed with him so long, with all the rude comments, venomous remarks, and all the pieces of shit he threw at her.

She looked out the window of the Mortuary.
She sighed, "When John left, you looked so alone. There was no one there
for you,"
She turned to look at him, with a soft smile.
