After the events of GOTG 3, Rocket and Nebula work together to establish their new colony on Knowhere. As Rocket was convinced he has recovered the rest of the High Evolutionary's work or rather what's left of it, Adam Warlock stumbles upon an unspeakable truth. Rocket deciphers the last of his personal research and secretly works with the Guardians to recover this mysterious experiment. But not only do they find the project, they find an alluring invitation from the last disciple of the High Evolutionary.
