Seventeen-year-old Alex has knowledge that only a few people are aware of. Since childhood, she has been raised by individuals who keep a secret from the entire humanity.
In reality, she herself is different from what one would expect from a seemingly ordinary teenager. But it is thanks to her origin that she has access to classified information, which is heavily guarded.
She has always done as she was told. She never questioned the rules. Why would she when everyone told her it was for the good of humanity?
And so, it was supposed to be this time as well. She was supposed to do what was expected of her and return.
However, the task is more challenging than she expected. Especially when someone comes into play who knows more about her kind than she knows about herself. They might have what she has always wanted: information.
Alex makes a choice.
And suddenly, everything she knew turns out to be a lie.

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
