After the events of the jungle movie, Helga tries to move on without Arnold around. He decides to live with his parents in San Lorenzo and starts a relationship with the chief's daughter (I think they're around the same age if not just pretend :P). With the hopelessness of her love for the football head, Helga goes into the new school year quietly and unresponsive. It's been 2 months since she's seen Arnold or heard from him. With surprise and twist after twist this Hey Arnold fanfiction will be full of undeniable truths, lies, heartbreak, jealousy, anger, hope, and even some new characters.

Fan consensus at the time had already come to this conclusion, so when I re-released the story on Deviantart, that was one of the first changes I made. At the time when I initially wrote the story, it was script format, as I wasn't quite comfortable with writing traditional narrative. Now, with several other fanfics under my belt, I feel like it's time to re-visit the story one final time and present it in a way that most fans would prefer to have it read. It may seem redundant to post this again now that the story was officially concluded in 2017, but I'd like one final opportunity to express what I was hoping for from The Jungle Movie. In a world where Arnold and Helga never met as kids, Helga gets herself in a problem that almost causes her to get fired from her job working for Big Bob's company. Big Bob gives Helga another chance to keep her job and works as Arnold's temporary boss. Another company that associates with Big Bob's conpany decides to cut off their deals and move on. While Bob is away, Helga and Arnold persuade the company to still work together by pretending that Arnold was the head of their company.
