Evelyn spends her 25th birthday with her best friend Kenji who has been by her side since the 4th grade. Kenji takes her out on the best night of her life and brings Evelyn out of her shell. When she blows the candles out on her birthday cake, her whole apartment shakes with a powerful thunderstorm over them. They found a teenage boy passed out on her patio who wasn't there before. Erix tells the two who he was and where he came from. His name is Erix and tells them that he came from a different world filled with Faeries, Elves, Vampires, Seers, and Demons along with other little mythical creatures. He belonged to a royal family and was a prince of his dead kingdom. Evelyn had a hard time trusting him with a story that sounds made up. Evelyn asked Erix about her nightmares that she has been having since she was 17 years old and asked him if he could help her find the meaning behind it. Erix told her he knew someone who may have the answers to her nightmares, but she would have to come with him back to his world. Evelyn agrees with him and Erix teleports her and Kenji to his world.

Evelyn meets the King of Spring named Elysian, she asks him about her nightmares and if he could help her. Elysian agreed to help but everything comes with a price in this world. She had to go to the Ador Kingdom and safe his best friend Everest, The King of Amethyst from the evil King Illias.

Evelyn now has to fight for her life in Ador to protect herself from King Illias evil curse and also saving The Prince, Kiernan and his half siblings from their abusive father and king. But there were secrets lying deep in Ador that would kill Evelyn, Unknown secrets about her and her life that have been kept from her.
