Sunny killing Mari and Basil helping by staging it as a suicide always reminds me of Macbeth killing Duncan and Lady Macbeth helping.
So I thought it would be fun to use my script to type the story out word for word except replacing names and such.

I had a whole heartfelt thing typed out but my phone hates me so it's gone..Uhm...I wanted to delete this completely because I don't like it, but I know how much it meant to me when I started back in January of 2023. His mom has only ONE rule, don't go near BASIL....Eh, Fuck her rule. Things seem to look the same.. " I'm sick of you putting your hands on me Johnny!" A loud gunshot went off, echoing around the house, and for the first time, it was quiet. No more door slamming, no more cleaning up my mother's blood off the walls, and no more fighting. I remember asking my mother "Are we free?" I swear it felt like Christmas or New Year's. All I can hear is cheering in my head or maybe ringing. For the first time in 12 years Mother and I were able to sleep that hot summer night in bed together. April's life changed once she saw her dad Johnny get murdered right in front of her, by her mother June. A self-defense case quickly turned to manslaughter and the law turned against June at the drop of a hat. June was sentenced to 25 to life, a then 14-year-old April was left alone. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. But April has a secret and no one will ever find out, cause if you did you'll end up just like Johnny. ❌This book is not for the weak❌ 21+

So since I haven't seen a fic with this concept, I'm doing it. This could be interpreted as a self insert, you just have to ignore the descriptions for the OC and change it however you want. District 12 girl Adalayne volunteers. From her POV she goes into the Hunger Games, different hunger games with many challenging obstacles. She experiences love, betrayal, and sadness as she makes her journey. Hiiii so this is a sequel to the hunger games series. I recommend reading the trilogy and the prequel before you read this.
