Throughout his whole life, Gage Droilan had lived in a society where everything was the same- the buildings, the streets, even the people. Reaching the end of his final year of Education, Gage believes he is ready to make things better for the world as a Citizen. But when he becomes friends with a mysterious girl he meets on the street, he catches a glimpse into seeing that all may not be what it seems when it comes to the Upgrade. Will Gage receive the Upgrade, and become a Citizen, as he always dreamed? Or will he refuse to change, and join Deception and her band of misfits in their fight against Society itself?
