She's a Pirate

"No, my mother was a whore."

Steve frowned in response to her casual attitude. "That's not a nice thing to say about your mother."

"No no. That wasn't meant to be an affront. I mean she was an actual whore." She waved him off. "As in by trade. I was born in a brothel before my mother tracked down my father and handed me off to him straight out of the womb. I don't really know all that much about the woman, other than the fact that she was a Madam."

"That's.. terrible." His eyes widened in horror.

"I suppose it's a matter of perspective. My father for one said it was the best day of his life. He figured he finally had a male heir, until he realized after a full sixty seconds that I wasn't packing, of course. Though seeing as he'd already had it in his head to name me after himself, he still chose to name me Jack. Short for Jacklyn... or so he says. The old man is nothing if not in love with himself." She snorted.

The female spawn of a certain pirate lord finds herself at a loss in the 21st century. This time-traveling Sparrow will have to come to terms with her new reality as she makes the acquaintance of a band of so-called heroes and reluctantly adjust to being on the right side of the law for once. Afterall, what better than a pirate to spice things up on the Avenger's team?
