After Bakugo spends his whole life competing Izuku to be the best, they both land at rock bottom, or at least it feels that way to Bakugo. His mother passed away due to an airplane crash, and His father often comes home drunk, that leads to fighting, raping, and abuse. They both always ask if he's okay.
