Akeme Urapa has gained feelings for two boys in her new school, she freshly moved to Korea, originally living in a small village in Tokyo with her mother, sister, and alchoholic father who later was placed in the hospital, had to move. With no income coming in she moved close to relative family.

In terms of relationships, she doesn't know who to choose, she barely speaks Korean at the school as it is.

Although Akeme is very confused on the decisions she has to make throughout the book, going through a love triangle, she tries her best just as one or a many few problems approach her throughout the school year.
