The Last Princes of Wales (Violent Delights Book 7)

Between 1407 and 1409 Wales will stage its last struggle for independence. Owain Glyn Dwr ap Gryffud, the last true Prince of Wales fights to maintain his nations right to sovereignty from the oppression of the English. A desperate power play ensues between Owain, an experienced leader and statesman, and Henry of Monmouth, the English crown prince, a barely battle tested twenty year old with an under manned, under funded army. Equally stubborn and cunning, both men know what it takes to destroy the other, but can they rally their supporters in time before the other makes his next move?

Owain is past fifty, with a wife and grown children and grandchildren. He believes in Welsh independence and wants to liberate his people. But he's rapidly losing funds, and the faith of his own army, as the sieges wear on.

Henry is twenty years old, with enough learning to lead an army, but relatively little practice. After suffering a disfiguring injury in his first battle, he's desperate to prove himself, and crush the Welsh resistance. His father the king, and even his own men, are much less enthusiastic for his cause.
