A Monotonous Orbit

Or perhaps that was just their anger. Paintbrush couldn't really be sure of anything but one thing; they were most definitely taller than Lightbulb, even with the stool she had herself propped up against.

"Ha," they said, hissing the words into Lightbulb's face with a sense of triumphant energy and emotion running through their bloodstream.

Lightbulb seemed happier than Paintbrush had thought she would, a smile still plastered across her face. The realization that should have hit Paintbrush in the face a while ago just now popped up and sent red-hot anger right through their mind like a thunderbolt went for anything metallic.

The goal for Lightbulb was not to prove she was taller than Paintbrush; it was to rile them up.

And it was working.
