Soulmates are a complex discussion. While Kid believes everyone has a soulmate, he casts himself out as the only exception. He has no time for love. All of his lovers will die one day, anyway. Kid will see eras while his friends and loved ones only see decades. Life was an unfair game with death as its morbid ending.
