So I got this idea after reading the fifth wave of a storyline that is different from that of the book and I think it's really interesting so here I go.
(P.S. a lot is based off the book but im changing it to a different story)
1st Wave: lights out
2nd Wave: surfs up
3rd Wave: pestilence
4th Wave: silencers

When they came we weren't ready. We probably wouldn't ever have been ready. Lydia Martin and her few friends that managed to survive the first four waves were alone. No one to save them no one to help. Till one night Lydia discovers a hidden talent within herself that could save mankind. If she's able to survive.
