Marino Hills, California in the mid-2000s is hypersensitive to the idea of change. Change is the bane of the Marino Hills social hierarchy, where everyone knows everyone, and news of anything that doesn't fall in line with the norm is bound to spread like wildfire.

Jisung Han should know, he's grown up there for the better part of his life. If there's anything his parents have taught him, it's to stay in cohorts with the "right" side of town.
