Deep in the oceans, the Sea Queen rules Atlantica, the kingdom of the mer. A powerful witch herself, she has a secret weapon: the Huntress. The Huntress preys on sailors and ships on the ocean's surface, and within the deadly waves, she tracks down rebels fighting against the rule of the Sea Queen.
Ariel has many titles-the Huntress, the Slayer of Men, Heir to Atlantica-but she holds in particular close to her heart: sister. And it's for her sister that she carries out her aunt's despicable tasks, that she kills humans and mer alike. So when her aunt demands she go on an insane quest to track down a lost item that would make the Sea Queen unstoppable, she agrees--for a price.

Prince Eric Halliran of the Nereidian Kingdom knows that humans are losing the war with the mer. The Huntress is growing stronger, while the entirety of the eighteen kingdoms only grow weaker as oversea trade dwindles by the day. But there's still hope-an ancient artifact that held the power to put a stop to the Sea Queen and her Huntress. So Eric hunts down an expert in mythical oceans, tracks down a map, and sets off with his crew for a power that could change the course of the world entirely.
OR a really dark retelling of The Little Mermaid, featuring most of our favorite characters, a few new ones, and plenty of others in the Disney Universe :)

Suddenly she's being told she has to marry the prince of Nanzanya a sleazy, gross man that doesn't understand boundaries and hands that slip down too far.
