What if Feyre never existed? What if Amarantha succeeded in taking down the wall separating the mortal lands and Prythian? What if Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court, was never saved from the horrors of Under the Mountain?

Lilith is the Princess of Hybern, the daughter of the King of Hybern. Beautiful and powerful. And close to the throne, which is exactly what Rhysand needs. He can't very well kidnap the King, but he knows that the King is up to something. Something... dangerous. The only way for him to find out what is going on and protect his Court, he needs to take someone close to the throne and force the plans out of them.
