Madison (Maddie) Frost lost her boyfriend in what police say was a, "Mugging gone wrong", several weeks before her last school year.

Quinn - the gorgeous, too cool best friend who Becca wishes she could be. She dated Kyle when they were younger, but they are still good friends. Emily - the younger sister. She is popular, good-looking and has a bit of a wild side.

After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight.
