Come Bastille Day again.
By james a. galgano
Once upon some foolish thoughtless time much like now this
When future hope found itself in the grasp of Judas' embrace and kiss
Then soon betrayed and crucified upon liberty's bleeding vine.
Where hopes and dreams are born then forever lost in space and time
Seemingly now without lifeboat or lifeline to draw one to safety unable to swim.
Yet hope is never beyond sight or reach that we are unable to hear or see
The thoughts words and visions percolating within each of us for liberty.
Long will this banner wave beyond dawn's early light for all to see and follow?
From each morn we awake until the time comes liberty and we have won tomorrow
