Gwen has always wanted to be a veterinarian, because of her love for animals. But her parents say "she can do better". But they always wanted her to be happy. That makes her happy, animals. After getting in a big fight with her dad, Gwen decides to go off on her own. She stays with her friend Mary Jane for awhile, and starts going after her ex boyfriend, Peter.
Mary Jane is just like Gwen, but the tall, skinny blonde girl for all the guys who don't get Gwen. Mary is jealous, but decides not to be, she just wants Gwen to be happy. The first thing Peter gets Gwen is a pug. She loves it, but Peter leaves it for a reason. He has a deadly disease and he will die in 3 months.
Gwen starts a fundraiser in the town and soon, it goes national.
All Gwen wants is her pug and happily ever.
