Jade is just a normal high school girl. Nothing extraordinary of the sort has ever happened in her life. Study first, no boyfriend or anything close to that. Her life revolves around fictional characters alone because she believed that no man will ever be enough to please her highly impossible expectations or so she used to, because everything changed when she met Gabe.

The untouchable basketball player of her father. He was like the 'bad boy' in the countless books she had read before. He was the total opposite of everything she liked in a man, but he turned out to be everything she wanted. Unfortunately for her, Gabe already liked someone else. But Jade, as stubborn as she can get isn't just going to give up that easily. If she wants something, she will do whatever it takes to have it, and she wanted Gabe more than she ever wanted something in her life that even after knowing that he like someone else won't stop her.
