When the three of them go to the new café down the road, the hot barista immediately catches Gabes eyes. The barista seems pretty interested but Gabe is too scared he will only make fun of him like the others. There wasn't really anything all that special about me. I considered myself an average person with average looks. That being said, I also considered myself a very gaunt person. I was sort of a nerd. Not like a big 'ooooh, look at him, with his glasses, pocket protector and retainer', I of course had never worn any of those things. I'm a quiet type of nerd . He was almost like me, which made us the perfect best friend. He was also pretty popular, even though he hung out with me. Neither Jade, nor Alex were terrible to look at. In fact, sometimes I wondered why they weren't even more popular than they were. Jade is a model, tall with long black hair a perfect body and nice sized tits. Alex is perfect. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Meet Adrianna Robertson the bad girl is what people call her, when she was younger her mom left her the day she was born with her controlling father. Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
