Why didn't you come back? Where were you when I needed you the most? Why couldn't you remember me, what happened to you? You left me, you broke your promise. How can I ever trust you again? Why should I speak if no one will listen? Even though you were my twin you were my everything. No one wanted come anywhere near me, whether because of you and your reputation or because of the things that HE did. You blew caution to the wind, I warned you that day it was a bad idea. Mother told us to be careful. But you, you never seem to stay out of trouble, and me I always came along for the ride. Trouble followed me too, but not by choice, but what HE did. You used to take the hit for me, made sure I never got hurt. But once you were gone no one could protect me, and our little sister had left me too that spring. My Bad Luck
Everyone suffered through hard times in the COVID years. Olivia, on the other hand suffered through everything. She felt like the universe targeted her, and that she would never get a good ending. Her hope that things would get better was fading by the day. Did she do something wrong? She must have done something to deserve such punishments. Well, at least that is what she believes. After the loss of her beloved younger sister, she needed to step up. But what she wasn't prepared for was having to protect her little brother from her own parent. Feeling lost, and never feeling the comfort of a home, will Olivia be able to break her bad luck? "Because maybe all along I am the reason everyone else had to start suffering in 2019."

It's amazing how one little choice can change a life. Not just for you, but for everyone around you. I knew that our family welcoming in a foster child would change things, but I never imagined how much. I never imagined the burden my new brother carried.
