Then their generation became powerful. Their generation became historic when his son, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III became the archipelago's first dragon rider, dragon master, and hero of Berk.

But what is it that motivated the young hero anyway? fame? money? friends? love? He could've stayed with Gobber or he could've taken a turn to write books. Kids his age were too scared to step into the light of the actual Viking world- Well, teenagers like him.

Nobody knows, not even him. It's the echoes, the echoes that keep ringing, repeating, bothering him every day for years.

Ever since that dreadful night.
