KotLC: Eclipse (KotLC X Magnus Chase)
An idea that I had when I noticed that there aren't many crossovers between kotlc and Magnus Chase. The first few chapters may be similar to the first Magnus Chase book, but it will go on a different path to them. ---------------------------------- Sophie Foster thought that death was the end. Instead, it was just the beginning. She awakens in a realm beyond life and finds that she is caught in the currents of a fate far bigger than she ever imagined. With old friends and new companions, Sophie must navigate an ancient prophecy, unravel long-lost secrets, and battle forces that could unmake the world forever. The balance of the universe is shifting. As shadows grow and destinies collide, she must decide how far she's willing to go to save the worlds she loves- before it's too late. --------------------------------- This fanfiction requires knowledge of both Magnus Chase books 1-3 and KotLC books 1 - 9.5 with some details altered/removed. This is set during Stellarlune, but the whole last part with Elysian is completely gone. The Neverseen has also been(almost fully ;) ) captured. Unravelled has happened in this timeline. Don't worry, people who came here for the butterfly tag. Life of A Young Demigod: Book 1 (Percy Jackson reader insert)
COMPLETED! This is a m!reader-insert fic based in the Percy Jackson universe, as I imagine you can tell. I'm just starting this (as of early March 2023), and have very little writing experience, at least with this style, so forgive me if it begins a bit rough, I will likely go back and clean things up later on once I'm a bit more experienced. I intend this to be fairly strict in terms of major canon relationships and such, I don't have a problem with people who change them and actually quite like a number of stories that do, but I'd like to try something other than the 50th readerxannabeth fic (dont yell at me I actually enjoy those). I also will not be having (Y/N) "take Percy's place" in any way. Again, I have no problem with others who write this way, but it is not how I want to do it. I grew up with Rick's superb writing, and I don't intend to make any fundamental changes to Percy's story. It is great as is and I don't exactly feel qualified to change it. Perhaps I will get more ambitious as I go along, but I am fairly certain of this at the moment. (Y/N)'s story is complimentary. It will of course involve many changes to events, new events, and even slight lore changes to make things work, but it will all make sense within the original framework and hopefully won't be too jarring. In terms of long term plans. I aim to at least get through the end of HoO. That'll probably take a good year or so, so I think that's a solid aim for now. I'm from Long Island, so expect a LOT of specific LI and NY references here and there. Think of them as fun easter eggs :) Books one and two are going to fairly brief compared to the later ones. They're not short by any means, they'll be a solid 3 hour read each, but the later ones will be notably longer. Enjoy!Complete
