Lost // AnakinSkywalker X Reader

In a galaxy far far away you become 21-year-old Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker's padawan, a dream come true. Right? As it turns out, Anakin is the most narcissistic, arrogant, and egotistical person you've ever met. He never wanted a padawan, and he makes that very clear to you at every given moment. You had hoped since the two of you had joined the order later than most younglings you'd be able to bond, that and the fact that you're only two years apart from each other.

As the days drag on and Anakin 'trains' you by making you run 20, 40, or even 60 laps around the Jedi temple, you feel a hatred growing for him. Despite all efforts to befriend him, or even just be civil, you can't help but feed into the monstrous hatred growing within you.

As time goes on, your feelings of hatred waver into something unknown, and little do you know that Anakin is feeling the same way. Will time bring you closer together, or drag you farther apart? Will you end up losing yourself, or him?

*There is no Padme in this story, at least not in direct correlation with Anakin. They never fell in love and were never married.
**This story takes place during the Clone Wars, but I will not be following every canon event from Star Wars, so that way I can take some artistic liberties!
