Nezuko used to be a girl who always seemed to smile. She was a bubbly, sunny, upbeat girl to her friends. In the beginning, things were going south for her. Her beloved family were brutally killed by Muzan Kibutsuji, and he had transformed her into a fierce monster. Her gentle older brother Tanjiro was forced to become a demon slayer for her sake, and Nezuko feared that it would always be the two of them against the world.

But Nezuko was lucky enough to find two friends who cared for her just as much as her brother. Soon, things started looking bright as she and Tanjiro made even more friends and vanquished even more monsters. She was sure tragedy was far behind her.

Alas, what Nezuko had failed to realize was that the real tragedy was only beginning for her...
